Reservations

Check the Rental Calendar on this site for possible open dates. The minimum reservation for July and August is one week. During all other rental months, the minimum reservation is four (4) nights. Contact us by e-mail (using the contact form on this site) or by telephone. For telephone calls, you may use either phone number as both numbers have voice mail and e-mail notifications. Please call us directly in the USA from June through November at 517-484-7417. From December through May, we are in France at 09 64 07 98 30. We can help you determine if the dates you want to use the apartment are available.

During July and August, rentals are weekly from Saturday at 3:00 PM (15:00 h) to 10:00 AM on the following Saturday. In all other rental months, a minimum of four nights is possible. The hours for arrival/check-out remain the same.

The fully-equipped apartment includes household furnishings, appliances in working order, high-speed internet, and telephone; calls to cell phones may create additional charges. Bed linens and towels are provided. 

Our rental fees are all-inclusive; there are no added charges for linens or wi-fi; for example.

Our local host will welcome you to explain the apartment security, appliances and furnishings, will be available for information during your stay, and to return your security deposit at departure.

Please do not consider our apartment if you are looking for a large-screen TV with English-language channels. We do offer a radio/cd/i-Pod-ready stereo player system along with a small collection of CDs and DVDs (to play on your own laptop). Our game closet includes Monopoly® and Scrabble® (both English and French versions).

Usage Terms

Owners will provide a clean and well-furnished apartment in excellent condition. Renters/Guests are asked to use it gently and leave it in the same condition. A checklist is provided for this purpose. In most instances our local property manager will be available to conduct a review prior to guests' departure.

The apartment is self-catering and guests supply their own food items. Our guests are welcome to use condiments and spices available in the apartment, with the request that any depleted supplies be replenished for those following.

Chez Sullivan is a smoke-free property. Smoking is not permitted in the apartment at any time.

Guests who wish to have pets stay with them in the apartment must have advance approval from the owners and may be requested to pay an additional security deposit.

Rental rates: July and August  (June 30-Sept 1, one week minimum)         

Rental rates: all other months (4 night minimum)        

Payment arrangements

For one or two-week rentals 495€ ($695 USD) is payable at the time of reservation confirmation. Rentals of three weeks or more require a deposit of 50% of the total rental fee at the time of reservation confirmation.

The balance of all rental fees is due one month (four weeks) prior to the arrival date to maintain a confirmed reservation.

The 300 € damage deposit is due in cash upon arrival.

Payments may be made in euros by bank transfer or in US Dollars (USD) by certified check or through PayPal.

The 300 € damage deposit will be returned to the renter when the owner or owner's representative has confirmed that all appliances and other aspects of the apartment are in the same working order as when rented. The 300 € deposit will be returned to the renter at departure or within two weeks of departure.

Payment in euros is requested by bank transfer. Payment in US dollars may be made by certified check or through PayPal. Cash upon arrival is requested for the security deposit.

Cancellation

In the event that a renter must cancel a reservation and provides us written notice at least 8 weeks or more in advance of the rental start date, all fees paid shall be refunded to the renter.

If the reservation is cancelled less than eight weeks but at least four weeks in advance of the rental start date, the renter shall receive a refund of 50% of the rental fees paid. 

If notice of cancellation is received less than four weeks prior to the rental start date, the renter shall forfeit all rental payments.
